Refund & Cancellation Policy

How refunds and cancellation work depends on where you bought. If anything went wrong, contact us first — we'd rather fix it than lose a customer.

Bought in the iOS app (App Store)

Apple handles billing, so Apple handles refunds: request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. To cancel the monthly subscription, open iOS Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → NoTrail VPN → Cancel. Access continues until the end of the period you paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Passes (15 or 30 days) do not renew, so there is nothing to cancel.

Passes (15-day / 30-day)

A pass is activated immediately after payment. At checkout you ask us to start the service immediately and acknowledge that, once the digital service has started, you lose your 14-day right of withdrawal (EU consumer law, digital services). For that reason passes are not refundable once activated, except where the law says otherwise.

If you were charged and the pass never worked because of a fault on our side, we will fix it or refund you in full.

Monthly subscription

The subscription renews every month until you cancel. Cancel any time using the "Manage or cancel subscription" link on your confirmation page (it opens a secure Stripe portal; no password needed). Cancelling stops future renewals and your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. We don't refund partial periods, except where the law requires or where the Service did not work because of a fault on our side.

Exceptional cases

If a problem on our side left you without working VPN access for a meaningful part of your pass or billing period, email us with your order details and we'll make it right, whether with an extension of access or a refund.

Chargebacks

Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank; it is usually much faster.
