Pass or subscription?
Many VPNs only sell auto-renewing subscriptions. NoTrail VPN also sells passes: pay once, use it for a set number of days, and it ends on its own. Here is how to choose.

Prices are in USD. When you buy in the app, the price shown on the App Store purchase screen is the one that applies, and it can differ slightly by country and currency. All plans include every server location and Shadow Mode.
How passes work
A pass is a single payment for a fixed number of days. Your access starts after payment and stops on the date shown. Nothing renews, so there is nothing to cancel and no surprise charge later. If you want more time, buy another pass.
How the monthly plan works
The monthly plan renews each month until you cancel. If you subscribed in the app, you manage it with Apple: open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose NoTrail VPN. When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.
Cost per day
- 15-day pass: about 47 cents a day.
- 30-day pass: about 37 cents a day.
- Monthly plan: about 33 cents a day over a 30-day month.
If you will use a VPN for a month or more, the monthly plan costs less per day than the 30-day pass. If you only need protection for a trip, a pass means you pay for exactly that and nothing else.
Which one should you pick?
- A trip of up to two weeks: the 15-day pass.
- A longer trip or a one-off month: the 30-day pass.
- You want to be covered all the time: the monthly plan. Cancel whenever you like.

Common questions
What happens when my pass runs out?
Your access simply ends on the date shown. Nothing renews and nothing is charged. You can buy another pass whenever you want.
Can I cancel the monthly plan any time?
Yes. If you subscribed in the app, cancel in your iPhone’s Settings under your name and Subscriptions. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Do all plans include every location?
Yes. All plans include every server location and Shadow Mode. The only difference is how long they last and whether they renew.
Is the price the same in the app and on this site?
Prices on this page are listed in USD. In the app, the App Store shows the final price for your country before you pay.
